Hello Sunny Siders, I hope you all have been having a great start to 2025! I know the blogs have been sporadic since Blogmas and there is a reason for it, which I am finally able to share. I am opening an Etsy shop to sell my digital art!
I thought this would be a fun blog to share a little bit about what this process has looked like along with giving you all a first look at the products that will be available at launch.
The shop officially launches February 3rd, but I am giving the blog readers early access via this link: http://sunnysidercrafts.etsy.com
Making of the Shop
Let’s begin with the process of setting up my small business and making my shop. I wanted to take all the precautions and started actually by consulting with a lawyer to set up my business as part of an LLC (Limited Liability Corporation). I wanted to make sure that my business was able to remain separate from my personal assets so we worked together to create an LLC tied to my art. I even created a savings account and got a credit card all in the name of my business so as to keep it distinct and separate from my personal finances.
Once the LLC was set up, I started developing my Etsy shop. I created a new email just for my business and began going through the proper process to set up my shop. As part of setting up your Etsy shop you have to list an item, so I took a break to start designing my products.
Making of the Products
I invested in a few new pieces of technology to help me streamline my business. The first was a color printer for printer my sticker sheets. The second was a Cricut Explore 3 for designing and cutting the stickers, and the final item was an iPad for taking my art to the next level!
I spent a lot of time and trial and error to get my stickers to a place where I was happy with the quality. I tested a few different brands of sticker paper and even settings on my printer and Cricut before getting to the products I was proud with.
The shop will be launching with both individual die cut stickers and sticker sheets, both of which I am so proud of!
Once I made some test versions of my products, it was time to take photos so I could finish listing them on Etsy. Below are a few of the designs that will be available with the launch of the shop!

Designing the Shop Branding
Once all my designs were ready and my shop was created, I had to create the branding for Sunny Sider Crafts. This involved designing business cards and creating assets to be used for the shops logos, banners, and listings.
I decided I wanted my shop to have the feel of a cafe, so I created a banner with an awning and signs to serve as drop downs for the shops name and tagline (shout out to my grandma for creating the tagline).
I really loved the way the banner art turned out, so I infused it into the listing images as well.
Listing the Products
The final step was to list the products. Not going to lie this took a very long time. I had to create ALT text for each image, which is essentially a description of what the photo is.
Each listing required a description of the product, an explanation of materials used, and relevant tags for SEO optimization.
I also had to determine what the shipping process for each listing would be, as well as roughly how large the items would be when ready for shipping to ensure accurate prices.
The back end work was tedious, but I took it slow and managed to get everything listed over the course of a few days.
Finishing Touches
The last step was to add final touches to the Etsy Shop. This included creating an about section for the shop, which I infused the concept of running a cafe through the verbiage.
I also finalized shipping, return, and cancellation policies to ensure Sunny Siders have all the relevant information they need when preparing to make a purchase.
I am so proud of myself for taking the leap to start this business. It has been a lot of work the last few weeks, but I am so so proud of everything that will be available at launch. If you like cute stickers or know someone who does, please feel free to peruse my shop and see if there is something you like!
My Plan is to launch more products including greeting cards and bookmarks over the next few months! If I want to do that, it’s time to get back to doodling!
