Hello Sunny Siders, it is another day which means another Blogmas. Today I wanted to talk anime and provide a little recap on my year of watching in the spirit of Crunchyroll’s anime wrapped releasing this week.
For those who are new to the blog, I am a huge anime fan and it is the primary form of entertainment that I want on any given day.
Starting with some of the stats from Crunchyroll, across my account we watched 590 episodes of anime across 35 shows and 11 genres.
The top 3 most watched anime’s of 2025 were Spy x Family, Apothecary Diaries, and Fairy Tail.
At one point, we watched anime for 23 days straight without missing a beat!
In total, we watched 229 hours of anime content, and now I’d like to share some of my favorites from the year.
Apothecary Diaries: this was a new show for us in 2025 and it quickly became a favorite. It is primarily a mystery show that focuses on solving crimes through the use of an apothecary’s knowledge, but there is also hints of romance too.
Gachiakuta: this anime released in 2025 and we’ve been enjoying the season so far. The show is honestly a bit disturbing, but it is very unique in terms of the art style and story. This anime is about a boy who falls from the sky into a trash laden world and has a gift of turning all trash into a valuable weapon in battle.
Sakamoto Days: another new anime in 2025 that we Thor enjoyed was Sakamoto Days. This is about a former assassin who is trying to live out his normal life, but finds himself always nearing an altercation whether he likes it or not.
Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill: the second season started airing this fall and I don’t think there was an anime I was more excited for! It really is just like the title says, the main character is overly buffed due to his unique skill that allows him to cook just about anything.
Fruits Basket: this is an older anime, but I binged it in under 2 weeks because it was that good. It is a slice of life anime with the Chinese Zodiacs infused as a central theme. There is also a good deal of romance in the story.
Dandadan: another rather bizarre anime that I really enjoyed was Dandadan. It’s a comedic take on a high school paranormal fantasy that layers in humor and epic fights.
There were so many other great anime’s I watched this year but the above 6 were the real standouts. I cannot wait to see what the next year of watching brings!
Hello Sunny Siders, I know we just chatted a few days ago but I’m back with another blog! Ever since I got to see Demon Slayer Infinity Castle last weekend, I’ve been, eating, sleeping, and total concentration breathing Demon Slayer at just about every moment of my day.
In my excitement of diving into its box office performance, which I’ve been tracking since it’s Japanese release in July, I stumbled upon a news article that had a comment that said “We can easily call this a surprise hit…to have this one dominate the (domestic box office), I don’t think anyone could see this coming.”
And today, I’m here to tell you all the ways in which you shouldn’t have been surprised by the massive success of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle, and how this cultural shift in content expectations has been happening for awhile.
First, I want to start with where this filmed started: Japan. Demon Slayer Infinity Castle released in Japan on July 18th and broke every single opening weekend box office record in Japan to date at over $37 million for the 3 day weekend1. Since then, the film has stayed number 1 at the Japanese box office for 9 weeks straight, and is now the second highest grossing film of all time in Japan, behind only Mugen Train, which just so happens to be the first Demon Slayer film2.
Speaking of Demon Slayer Mugen Train, let’s talk about that film which had been the previous holder of all opening weekend box office records before Infinity Castle came in and obliterated them1.
Mugen Train released in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic when virtually no one was going to the movie theaters and it still broke every single box office record Japan had until that time. Mugen Train went on to make $279 million dollars in Japan and $522 million dollars worldwide, becoming the HIGHEST GROSSING FILM OF 20202,3. Yes, you heard that right, an anime film was the HIGHEST GROSSING FILM in 2020, surpassing every other film released that year, beating out films like Sonic the Hedgehog, Mulan, The Croods: A New Age, Soul, and Onward by a significant margin.
Now, I hear you saying “well that is all fine and good, but what about the U.S., it still seems like a surprise to have performed so well here.” And for that, let’s take a look at how anime has slowly become one of the largest forms of entertainment not just in Japan, but globally.
A recent survey done by Polygon of over 4,000 Americans aged 18 and up found that 42% of Gen Z interviewees watch anime weekly4. This is quite surprising, when you consider that another recent study found that only 25% of Gen Z follows the NFL4! Further, 25% of millennials, 12% of Gen X, and 3% of boomers reported to have watched anime weekly, highlighting that anime goes beyond the younger generations and is gaining appeal with the older ones too4.
Continuing to look at the market size and trends for anime in the U.S., we see that the market was estimated to be over $2.5 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to over $7.9 billion by 2033, growing at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 13% from 2025 – 20335. This is all the more impressive, considering the same reporting found the comic book market in the U.S. to be valued at only $1.9 billion6! The market that spawned superhero films which have dominated the box office for over a decade is now smaller than anime.
And it’s not just the market that is lower, soon the box office will be too, as Demon Slayer Infinity Castle could very well surpass all of the superhero films released this year in terms of box office sales, and most certainly in terms of revenue.
Getting back to the matter at hand and why I was absolutely not shocked by Infinity Castle’s U.S. performance, the film was making headlines well before it released on September 12th. When tickets went on pre-sale on August 15th, demand was so pent up that the Fandango website crashed due to all the activity7. Infinity Castle was estimated to have sold somewhere between $10 – $15 million in pre-sale tickets, making it the number 1 pre-sales for an anime film in U.S. history, rivaling what Fantatic Four did in 7 weeks and Superman did 4 weeks in just THREE DAYS8.
The film continued to gain momentum up until its U.S. box office opening weekend where it continued to break records, surpassing Pokémon: The First Movie’s $31 million dollar opening weekend in just one day and going on to make over $70 million for the 3 day weekend10. The film is expected to surpass $100 million dollars for the U.S. box office this weekend, which will secure its spot as the number one anime film in the U.S.
The current global box office total for Demon Slayer Infinity Castle is sitting at over $464 million and it still hasn’t opened in major markets like German and France2. That puts it ahead of Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts* and it isn’t too far off from Fantastic Four. However, even if Infinity Castle doesn’t surpass Fantastic Four and Superman in box office sales, it’s already obliterated them from a revenue standpoint. And that is because Demon Slayer Infinity Castle is estimated to have only costed $20 million dollars to make, meanwhile Fantastic Four was estimated to have cost over $300 million11,12!
What I think this truly highlights is that times and tastes are changing. People are tired of devastatingly mediocre films and stories coming out of Hollywood and are craving a shift. A major front runner in this race is from anime, which has the powerhouse of iconically recognizable franchises and characters, but has above all else never sacrificed quality of storytelling or animation to succeed. It’s apparent that young people especially are drawn to this different kind of media and I believe it will continue to grow and become even more prevalent as time goes on. I fully believe that the final installment of the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle trilogy could surpass a $1 billion at the box office and even become the number one film of the year as with Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.
Going back to where this all started, given all the data to support and suggest otherwise, I think we can easily say that if you’ve been watching the numbers than you could see the smashing success of Demon Slayer Infinity Castle coming from a mile away.
Hello Sunny Siders, I hope you all have been well! Seems like this blog is turning into a media review space, as I’ve got another film I’d like to talk about. This one shouldn’t be a surprise to my long time readers, as I’ve been a fan of Demon Slayer for years. Naturally, I had to go see the first of a trilogy of films to serve as the show’s conclusion.
While I want to share my thoughts on the film, I first wanted to talk about how much of an experience this film was for me. Personally, I can’t think of a film that I was actively waiting eagerly for it to release since pre pandemic times with Avengers Infinity War and Endgame.
But with Demon Slayer Infinity Castle, I’ve been following this announcement since season four ended in June 2024 and have been counting down to its release. This was a cinematic event that got my dad to book a plane ticket for the weekend just so we could watch it together, something that has never happened before in my life.
Since last year I’ve eagerly awaited trailer releases, film date releases, marketing tactics, ticket pre-sales and more to appease my excitement. When the film released in Japan in July, I started following box office numbers and news sites to see how much momentum the film was gaining.
The film has broken numerous records in Japan, and it seems like every week it is breaking another box office record. Here at opening weekend in the U.S., the film had the highest grossing box office opening weekend for an anime film ever, surpassing $70.6 Million for the weekend.
Watching an anime film create so much buzz and destroy so many records has been such a joy to watch. Knowing that animation tends to be labeled as “childish,” it is great to see elevated content and storytelling for adults getting the recognition it deserves.
Now, let’s actually talk about the film, which was 2.5 hours that went by faster than the blink of an eye!
Similarly to what I shared in my K-Pop Demon Hunter Sing Along Event experience, Demon Slayer Infinity Castle was truly an event because of the strong fandom established from years of storytelling. As we arrived at the theater so many people were dressed up in cosplay like characters from the show.
The theatre had a massive cardboard cutout of all the core characters and people were lining up (myself included) to take pictures. It was also so surreal to see just about every theatre playing the film, something very rare for an anime film to do in the U.S.
The film itself stayed very true to the manga that inspired it which made me very happy. The animation was exceptional and truly left me speechless at times due to the caliber of detail they were able to just with their $20
Million budget.
It’s was truly an experience to get to laugh, cheer, and cry among fans who have also waited over a year for this moment to occur. I really did have the most amazing time and it was even better alongside my family who love the show as much as I do.
My only regret is that I now have to wait two more years for the next film and probably won’t see its epic conclusion until 2029. It’s going to be a lot of waiting, but sometimes that’s the best part.
Hello Sunny Siders! I hope everyone has been having a wonderful week. I had an opportunity to attend my first Anime Con this past weekend and I wanted to talk about my experience.
I went to MegaCon with my fiancé and my brother and the three of us had a wonderful time overall. The convention was VERY crowded, but I learned after the fact that MegaCon is the second largest con in the US, with over 180,000 attendees over the 4 day weekend!
We got there a little bit after opening, and walked from our pre-paid parking spot to the convention. I highly recommend getting the pre-paid parking it made the event so much easier and stress free given that the traffic to get there was INSANE.
Once we got to the convention we got in line to go through the metal detectors, scan our tickets, and activate our badges before entering the convention center. There were opportunities to buy special themed lanyards for your badge, but free ones were also generic ones available which is what we opted for.
The first thing we did was book it to the Artist Alley. Artist Alley is the area of the convention where artists can pay to have a booth to sell their fan art or original concepts. This is different than the rest of the vendors at the convention which tend to be licensed brands.
Naturally, with my new found passion for digital art, I wanted to support my fellow small business friends. There was one stand in particular that I wanted to visit and that was for Sundrop Studios. Her convention and small business vlogs were actually what inspired me to start my Etsy shop, so I wanted to gift her a few of my stickers and express my gratitude.
She was genuinely such a nice person and meeting her and getting to thank her was the highlight of the convention for me. I also bought an adorable shirt from her and an Avatar the Last Airbender print that I can’t wait to frame and put in my apartment.
From there, we weaved our way up and down every row of the Artist Alley. I bought so much merch and I want to highlight each artist here!
The Juice Box Club was the second stand I stumbled upon. She was selling the cutest Studio Ghibli inspired keychains and pins, plus other adorable goodies. Since I have become a Studio Ghibli fiend, I had to get this adorable Calcifer keychain. I also got these silly Kirby stickers for my brother, and this Sriracha chicks enamel pin.
From there, we continued to wonder until we found Oddity Sisters. They were selling cozy Animal Crossing inspired goodies and I had to pick up this working 3-D printed elephant watering can from the game! They also were participating in a stamp rally, where consumers who purchased from all the shops in the rally you get a special prize from each. I didn’t end up completeing the rally, but it was fun to get to see a stamp rally in person!
By far the most creative stand in Artist Alley that I stopped by was Chaotic Blobs which was designed to look like a fish market. I got this hilarious sticker for my brother.
If you’ve been a long time follower of the blog you know I am a huge anime fan. Specifically, Demon Slayer is my favorite anime and the one that started my obsession. I was dressed at the con in my Rengoku shirt, claw clip, shoes, and necklace to support and represent my fandom. That was why when I found Proxi Dreams Art, I had to get these Demon Slayer Hashira donut stickers. I actually got these for my dad, because we share love for the show.
Throughout looking at all the gorgeous vendors in the Artist Alley, I was on the hunt for anything Saiki K for my mom. I stumbled across this adorable sticker and instantly had to get it for here. Cereusly Lunar had the cutest Sanrio inspired art and adorable anime art too!
Another vendor I was hoping to see at the convention was PepperCut, who had the cutest sticker sheets I’ve ever seen. I have been following her for awhile and was so excited to have the opportunity to support her. Genuinely these sticker sheets are too cute to use, and I am planning to frame them and use them as decor instead!
The last vendor I purchased from in the Artist Alley was Nick Lanza who had the most gorgeous poster prints. There were so many I wanted to buy, but I limited myself to the buy two get one free deal. I got a Club Penguin poster for my brother, a Stardew Valley one for myself, and an Assassination Classroom one for my mom because it had her favorite character Karma on it! These posters are such high quality, and I know I will be buying more in the future!
After we finished up in the Artist Alley, we got to exploring the rest of the con. There was an entire area that they designed to look like Batuu from Star Wars which was super cool. So many guests were cosplaying as characters, and the area even had music to add to the immersion.
There was also an area to see real droids from Star Wars which was really interesting!
We continued to roam around exploring some really cool booths, like one that was selling video games from Japan and another selling Anime DVD’s where I purchased the Assassination Classroom Animated Film for my mom as a gift!
After exploring for a bit, we took a pit stop break for lunch. There were tons of food vendors, but we settled on Bao Buns and Boba Tea! My brother and I both had the fried chicken Bao which was juicy and delicious. My fiancé got the fired chicken and the fried shrimp and he really enjoyed them both. For Boba, I got a classic milk tea and for being at a convention I thought I was pretty good. My fiancé got a Taro tea and he enjoyed it as well.
When we finished lunch we went and got a set of Photo Booth photos taken at Intels booth! The pictures were so cute and it was fun to have a little memory to take away.
Then, we got to try Gamer Supps as they had a special station where fans could try their energy beverages with very brand risky names. Honestly, for as much as our favorite creators hype them up I wasn’t the biggest fan but then again I’m not much of an energy drink person so that is likely why.
We continued to stroll until my fiancé’s friend joined us to continue walking around the convention. They both got blind boxes tailored to X-Box, One Piece, and Naruto before we headed to the second floor to take a look at the events going on.
To be honest, we definitely weren’t novice to the con life and didn’t look ahead at the planned events or celebrity greeting which is something I would do very differently when I return next year. There were some actors/actresses at the con that would have been really fun to have met, so I will certainly be looking more intently in the future. The same goes for the events as we did not look at any of them ahead of time. I wish we had because it would have allowed for a nice break between the large crowds of people all trying to shop.
The one event we did go to was a friendship bracelet making station, but we arrived too late to really get any goodies to make our bracelets. Regardless, this was a nice spot to relax away from the large crowds.
When we finished hanging out upstairs, we went back down for another round of looking at the booths. I found the cutest vendor Milk Mocha which are the cutest little bears that reminded me of my bears Toby and Cashmere.
I got a desk mat that looked like a digital camera and every time I go to my desk I smile when I see it.
After saying goodbye to my fiancés friend we headed home from the con. Overall, I had a wonderful time and I cannot wait to go again. It was so fun getting to be in a place with a bunch of people who shared my love for anime and all things kawaii! Next time, I really want to go all out and try my hand at cosplay.
Hello Sunny Siders, I hope you all are doing well! Today, I wanted to talk about Studio Ghibli Films as I have been watching them lately with my brother and really loving them.
For those who are unfamiliar, Studio Ghibli is a Japanese Animation Studio that is know for developing stunning animated films.
Thus far, I have watched Kiki’s Delivery Service, Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, and Ponyo. And I thought it’d be fun to share my thoughts on each one! One common theme I have noticed through all of these films is that what I personally thought the movie was going to be about was very different from the actual plot, but in a good way. These films are all so creative and not like much else I have ever seen in my life.
Kiki’s Delivery Service
Kiki’s Delivery Service is about a girl who is a witch. At age 13 witches are supposed to leave their home to find a new town to use their magic to help people. Kiki ends up using her power of flight to run a delivery service out of the local bakers shop. I found the film to be visually stunning and a fun concept. Prior to seeing the film I always thought Kiki was a baker, but I was totally off base there. A sub plot of the film is that a boy in town is fascinated with flight and gets a chance to ride in the Zepplin. Kiki ends up having to save the boy and the rest of the crew on the Zepplin when disaster strikes. Overall, I really enjoyed this film and it was a perfect introduction into Studio Ghibli Films!
Howl’s Moving Castle
Howl’s Moving Castle is about a magical man named Howl who is using his powers to stop an ongoing war. Sophie a girl he meets along the way ends up getting cursed and transformed into an old woman before finding her way into Howl’s home. She then works to clean the place up and helps Howl to not lose his heart every time he goes off into battle. My personal favorite part of the film is the fire demon Calcifer who is just so adorable. Again, this film is so visually stunning and I really enjoyed both the main and side plot, especially when they converged together.
Spirited Away
This is the film most people know when they hear Studio Ghibli. Spirited Away is a bout a girl and her family who are currently driving to their new home. The family takes a detour and the girls parents end up getting turned into pigs after eating food meant for someone else. In order to get her parents back, Chihiro must become a servant at Yubaba’s Bathhouse. Another film with a very interesting storyline that visually was stunning. I personally like the other three films I saw more than this one, but it still was a wonderful film.
Ponyo
Currently, my favorite of the Studio Ghibli films, Ponyo is about a fish who wants to become human. She has innate magical powers, but when she accidentally stumbles upon a magic elixir her powers become exponentially stronger and she transforms into a human. However, in doing so she has altered the tides so significantly that the world is virtually underwater. In order to restore the world back to normal, a boy named Sosuke must learn to love Ponyo, even if she is just a fish. This film being primarily under water made for some truly gorgeous animation. Some of the ways they used magic to represent the water so visually appealing. This film was wacky and fun all in one.
This is just my start into a journey of seeing all the Studio Ghibli films. So far I haven’t seen a film I haven’t enjoyed and I am excited to watch more!
Hey Sunny Siders, I’m continuing the tradition from last year and sharing some of my favorite anime’s I’ve watched this year! I’m trying only to share ones that I didn’t share last year, so if you’re interested in a longer list feel free to refer to that old blog post!
Buddy Daddies
If you’ve seen Spy x Family and enjoyed it, you’ll love this one. This anime follows two assassins who end up having to take care of a little girl. It’s super adorable and a very emotional at times, but one of my favorites from this year!
Chainsaw Man
If you like insane action, you need to watch Chainsaw Man. Everything about this anime is put into high gear, and you’ll be on the edge of your seat the entire time!
Campfire cooking in another world with my absurd skill
For those who love a little fantasy mixed with cooking, you’ll really enjoy this anime. It sounds ridiculous based on the title, but the story is really captivating. It’s got a lovable cast of characters, fantastic action sequences, and delicious food.
Cowboy bebop
This was the first anime from the 90’s I watched and I really loved the storyline. It’s superb futuristic and sci-fi, reminding me of many of my favorite novels that take place in space. This anime has a lot of depth, and the unspoken is as powerful as the spoken word.
How to Keep a Mummy
Warning, you will squeal and cry from cuteness if you watch this anime. It’s so adorable and my heart was bursting with happiness during each episode. It’s a short one, but every episode is so well done.
Love is War
Love is War follows two extremely intelligent high school students who don’t want to admit they like each other. The show centers around their convoluted plans to get the other to admit they have feelings. The plots are reminiscent of Death Note, without all the darkness, so if you like that extremely calculated plans, this is a great one.
Inuyasha
The most recent anime I’ve watched is another older one named Inuyasha. It takes place in Feudal Japan following a girl named Kagome who comes from the future and Inuyasha a half demon. I’ve noticed a lot of parallels to the extremely popular anime Demon Slayer, and it’s kept me captivated seeing how they’ll overcome their tribulations.
Hey Sunny Siders, happy blogmas day 21! This year I really got into watching anime. I’ve watched a lot of anime this year, so I thought it’d be fun to rank all the anime’s I’ve watched this year using a tier system.
S tier (the highest ranking)
Demon Slayer
Demon Slayer is about a boy named Tanjiro whose family is killed by a demon. The only survivor is his sister who was turned into a demon. The story follows Tanjiro on his quest to restore his sister back to human form and avenge his family. The animation and storyline are exceptional in this show. It’s really hard to watch any anime after Demon Slayer because it sets the bar extremely high.
Jujutsu Kaisen
This anime follows Yuji on his journey of becoming a Jujutsu sorcerer that eradicates the powerful curse known as Sukuna. The characters, music, animation, and storyline are once again superb, and I cannot wait to see what this show has in store for future seasons.
Hunter x Hunter
This anime follows Gon on his quest to become a Hunter like his father. Along the way Gon meets lots of friends, like Killua, who help him on this journey. Hunter x Hunter takes a little bit to get into, but once it gets going you won’t want to stop. The characters are extremely well written and the growth you see in them is incredible.
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
If you’re not into fighting or suspense, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. is for you. This anime follows Saiki, a high schooler that has psychic abilities, as he tries to navigate a normal high school life. This anime is the perfect comedy, and every episode left me laughing.
Assassination Classroom
Assassination Classroom follows a group of middle school students that are tasked with killing their teacher before he blows up the Earth. The way all of these characters grew and evolved as students was some of the most beautifully written character development I’ve ever seen. I’ve never been so attached to a group of characters as I was with Assassination Classroom. Trust me, you will cry during this one so be warned.
Spy x Family
Once again, if you’re looking for something more lighthearted Spy x Family is the anime for you. Spy x Family follows the spy named Twilight on his mission to create a fake family all in the name of restoring peace between the east and the west. What Twilight doesn’t know is that is daughter is telepathic and his wife is an assassin. This anime is a perfect balance of serious plot and hilarious comedy. Oh, and you will definitely fall in love with these characters!
A tier
Death Note
Death Note is about Light Yagami a boy genius who stumbles upon a book that allows him to kill anyone anyway he wants. He decides to seek his own justice by killing all the criminals in Japan. Not everything goes according to plan as L is tasked with catching this killer, and he gives Light a run for his money. This anime is all about double crossing and extremely complicated plans to avoid capture.
My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is the story of how Deku becomes the greatest hero of them all. Deku, a once quirk-less human, is gifted the quirk “one for all” from the current number one hero All Might. This anime is another one that does a great job of developing a large number of characters. There is also a nice balance between intense and lighthearted episodes.
Ouran High School Host Club
Ouran High School Host Club follows Haruhi as she stumbles upon the Hist Club and accidentally breaks an extremely valuable vase. She must work off her debt by joining the host club, where she meets lifelong friends. This is a really goofy anime that always kept me laughing. Some of the things the host club was tasked with doing were just hilarious.
Restaurant To Another World
Restaurant To Another World is about a restaurant that only opens once every 7 days and is a portal between our world and others. The restaurant serves western food to mythical creatures as they work through their problems. This is such a lighthearted and sweet anime. I always felt warm and fuzzy inside after watching an episode.
Kakegurui
Kakegurui follows gambling addict Yumeko as she shakes up the dynamic at Hyakkaou Private Academy. The school is known for gambling, but Yumeko really takes the gambles to a new height. This anime is very different from the others I’d watched but in a good way. I loved the animation, and the gambles these students were making were just crazy.
B tier
Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
This anime follows Yukihira Soma as he enrolls in a culinary school and aims to become the top chef. Along the way he meets friends to have competitions with, as they battle for a spot in the Elite 10. This anime is like watching a Food Network competition. I enjoyed it because I learned a lot about cooking. However, it really fell flat in the final season.
Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits
After losing her grandfather, Aoi is sent to the realm of the ayakashi to repay her grandfathers debt by marrying the Ogre King. Aoi doesn’t want to marry the Ogre, so she devises a plan to pay off the debt by opening a restaurant. I’ll say this anime had a great idea, but so far there hasn’t been much of Aoi cooking and running her restaurant. The anime’s main plot keeps getting overshadowed by these mini side plots that take up a majority of the screen time.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
This anime based off of a video game follows David, who after his mother is killed in a drive by shooting, decides to become an edgerunner and deck out his body with high tech machinery implants. For only being 10 episodes they crammed a lot of plot in. The animation was nice and there were lots of twists and turns in the plot.
C tier
Isekai Izakaya (Nobu)
This anime has a similar plot to Restaurant To Another World. This anime features a bar that is connected to another world. The patrons come to eat the unique foods and drink the strange alcohol. At the end of each episode there is an informational cooking or restaurant lesson. This anime was just okay. It was lighthearted and fun, but it felt a bit like a knock off of Restaurant To Another World in my opinion.
